Web Design by Cindy was created to showcase my web design efforts as well as answer questions regarding web design costs and details on how to go about getting your own website for your business and personal, internet needs.

I use WordPress for this site due to its simplicity, it helps me keep things simple for my site, while I do other types of site for customers. It also allows me to integrate my blog into my website.

I use WordPress for independent consultants that I have done websites for such as Minnesota Sex Toy Parties and Michelle’s Toy Box, because it makes it easier for them to update the sites themselves and it keeps their cost low. WordPress is also search engine friendly making it the ultimate package for independent consultants.

I enjoy working with people, graphics and the technical end of web design. Most of the graphics you see on my websites were done by me. Thank you for visiting I hope to hear from you soon in regards to hiring me to do your site.

I use WordPress a lot for these independent consultants because it is so handy for them to update themselves and not have to pay a designer to update everytime they need it. It is also search engine friendly and clean.

We moved servers which is why Michelle’s thumbnail doesn’t look the same as her site. I will update that at another time.

I am excited about this website. You can check it out at http://www.jewelryboutiquebyt.com. Tracy makes beautiful jewelry. The beads are the well know Murano glass along with Swarovski crystals. Very beautiful, plus affordable.

Tracy started her business by going to a craft show where they made their own necklaces. She found that she liked doing it, so thought she would make her own. Her ideas were so unique that people started complimenting her on her jewelry and asking her if she sold them. So she started making pieces for other people and doing craft shows. As she has gotten more and more popular she has found the need for a web site. People asking her if they can buy them online has shown her the need. People do so much shopping online now that having an online business is simply a must if you are going to do business.

Tracy and I collaborated ideas on the template and then I went in and did the technical as well. I think it turned out great and will be a great tool for her and her business.
